HK Express aspires to become the leading best practice LCC in the region, and the line maintenance team is accountable to deliver safe, reliable and compliant aircraft by providing efficient maintenance execution and transit operation oversight at home base and the network.


This position will station in Thailand - Bangkok to oversee the overall aircraft maintenance

duties.


Role Purpose


• Assist Maintenance Managers to develop and optimize the maintenance arrangement solution for the station independently;

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing and certification of the company aircraft in accordance with the company standards and procedures;

• Perform defect trouble-shooting, rectification and certification for the company aircraft in the station and the regional stations as required;

• Supervise and monitor the performance of local subcontractors;

• Perform duties in accordance with the company fleet schedule;

• Maintain the company facilities and equipment in the station;

• Control and initiate local strategies to achieve effective utilization of station resources, including manpower, equipment, facilities and aircraft spares;

• Manage AOG recovery and provision of a contingency plan to cover operational requirements such as diversions, ad hoc operations, major technical failures, incidents and accidents;

• Respond and follow up on audit findings and safety occurrence reports;

• Ensure effective communication with MCC, local management, airport traffic, internal customers and service providers.

• Provide periodically operational report to HKG headquarter.


The Ideal Candidate


• Thailand permanent resident;

• Degree holder in aircraft engineering and / or a qualification that demonstrates suitable

experience in aircraft maintenance;

• Minimum 5 years of related working experience and A320/1 CRS experience is essential.

Experience in working with Headquarter/Regional Engineering team is highly preferred;

• Possess aircraft maintenance license – HKAR-66 / EASA with endorsement of the aircraft

type A320 and engine types (Leap 1A, PW 1100, V2500); FAA

• Solid experience of A320 defect trouble-shooting;

• Good communication and interpersonal skills;

• Effective decision-making skills;

• Good command of written and spoken English;

• Willingness to work in variable shift duty;

• Candidate with less experience candidate will be considered as Assistant Engineer, Outstation Maintenance.
